Young woman with dark hair and eyes in front of a keffiah wears a black shirt with collar and lapel microphone. She is reaching out toward screen as though to turn on a TV; caption reads “Hey, everyone. This is Bisan from Gaza.” Upper right corner has logo for AJ+.
Bisan is the second of a series of documentaries released by Seen Palestine. Bisan Owda received an Emmy in 2024 for Bisan from Gaza and I’m Still Alive, this  32-minute passionate, sad, funny, view of the realities in Gaza one year into the occupation. She shows the horrors of the genocide and allows us to humanize the dead. Owda, with her over four million followers, may be the most impactful of the 50 trained Seen Palestine journalists.
Here is a preview.  Discussion to follow.
